The Notre Dame Club of Omaha closed out it's holiday giving party with a wrapping party on December 14 at the Kelly household. This year, the club raised over $4000 to help families served by the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging (ENOA). The goal of ENOA is to provide support for elderly individuals so they can stay in their homes and to provide extra support for grandparents raising their grandchildren.
Nearly 40 club members donated time, money, and support to the 2013 campaign. In addition to the money raised, seven club families sponsored seniors or grandparent families. The club was able to provide support to 45 individuals and also provided giftcards that ENOA will use throughout the year to support more elders and grandparents raising young children. This is the 13th year of the club's Christmas Giving campaign. Christine Diss ('07) and Kari Mansour ('02) coordinated the campaign this year and wanted to thank all who supported this effort.
The annual Christmas giving campaign is under way. Check out the Christmas Giving page for more information.
